Expanding the AcroBee75 Series

NewBeeDrone, a well-known developer in the hobbyist drone community, has expanded its "AcroBee75" series with a new model featuring the DJI O4 digital FPV video system. The AcroBee75 Pusher Drone HD is a lightweight 75mm freestyle drone designed for dynamic indoor and outdoor flying and high-quality 4K video recording. The developer claims exceptional reliability, control, responsiveness, and range within its class.

Frame and Electronics

The drone utilizes a 75mm diagonal carbon fiber X-frame ("Cockroach75 Brushless Frame") with impact-resistant motor protection rings. It features an offset center of gravity design. At its core is the BeeBrain BLV4 HD G4 flight controller, based on the STM32G474 chipset. This integrates 20A 4-in-1 ESCs, 4 UARTs, a built-in 2-antenna ELRS receiver with an external crystal oscillator, and a microUSB port for Betaflight configuration.

Power System

The AcroBee75 Pusher HD is powered by four Flow 0804 14000KV brushless motors paired with NBD Azi 40mm three-blade propellers (1mm central hole). The motors are arranged in a "pusher" configuration (motors facing downwards). Motor replacement is solder-free.

VTx, Power, and Weight

The drone features the DJI Innovations O4 Air Unit. NewBeeDrone recommends a 2S 550-850mAh LiPo battery with an XT30 connector. With an 850mAh battery, flight time is estimated at 6-7 minutes in calm conditions. The drone weighs 44 grams without the battery, resulting in a total flight weight under 150 grams—potentially exempting it from registration requirements in many countries.
