BetaFPV Update

BetaFPV, like many other consumer drone manufacturers, is gradually adapting its products to the latest DJI O4 digital FPV system. This update includes a new model in the "Pavo" series and two updated versions in the "Meteor" series.

The New Pavo Femto

The newest addition to the Pavo line, the Femto, is a 2S cinewhoop designed for the DJI O4 digital FPV system (base version). Its 75mm diagonal frame is smaller than the popular Pavo Pico. It features a proven F4 2-3S AIO stack including a 20A Bluejay 4-in-1 ESC, a 16 MB Blackbox, and an ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz receiver. BetaFPV-Pavo-Femto-motor_result.webp

To ensure stable video, BetaFPV engineers have improved the camera mount's vibration dampening, as the O4 Air Unit camera is highly sensitive to vibrations. BetaFPV-Pavo-Femto-frame_result.webp

The power system consists of four Lava 1102 14000KV motors (new version) paired with Gemfan 1611 40mm tri-blade propellers. BetaFPV-Pavo-Femto-frame-cam_result.webp

BetaFPV recommends using a 450mAh 75C 2S LiHV battery with an XT30 connector. With this battery, the flight time is slightly over 5 minutes. BetaFPV-Pavo-Femto-FC_result.webp

A version without a pre-installed VTX is available for users who already own a DJI O4 base version.

The Pavo Femto is available for purchase through official BetaFPV stores and various online marketplaces. The version with the pre-installed DJI O4 costs $225, while the VTX-less version costs $105 (excluding taxes and shipping). BetaFPV-Pavo-Femto-batt_result.webp

Modified Meteor65 and Meteor75

The Meteor65 and Meteor75 are two 1S FPV drones modified for compatibility with the DJI O4 Air Unit (base version). BetaFPV-Meteor65-Meteor75-logo_result.webp

These drones utilize the new Matrix 1S flight controller. A key feature is its stabilized 1S power supply, crucial for stable VTX operation. This flight controller includes a 5V 4-in-1 ESC and an ExpressLRS 2.4 GHz receiver.

BetaFPV engineers have also optimized the camera mount on both models to reduce vibrations.

The Meteor65 Pro O4 uses 0802SE 19500KV motors with 35mm Gemfan tri-blade propellers. It weighs 28.53 grams without the battery. A 300mAh 75C 1S LiHV battery with a BT2.0 connector is recommended, providing approximately 2 minutes and 40 seconds of flight time. BetaFPV-Meteor65-Meteor75-flight-look_result.webp

The Meteor75 Pro O4 uses 1102 2200KV motors with 45mm Gemfan tri-blade propellers. It weighs 37.20 grams without the battery. A 550mAh 75C 1S LiHV battery with a BT2.0 connector is recommended, providing approximately 5 minutes and 30 seconds of flight time. BetaFPV-Meteor65-Meteor75-canopy-optional_result.webp
